Consider the following definition: A person is “careful” about their mental processes I will use this definition as my argument shows: “A person who was conscious of their actions, is responsible or is conscious of their object” Hence, I think we can see the rationale here that the person is responsible for their actions regardless of whether they performed them consciously. The more you think about this, the more you discover that “careful” is always in response to the “objective” conscious event. This is because it should be the case that the self is conscious. Whether this is true or not depends on the characteristics of individuals. Let’s say someone is deeply affected by the reality of which all is affecting. She is part of her society, and as such, the need for mental health care and other social healthcare is strong. She appears to be seeking treatment for a mental illness and, what is more, a lack of legal protection and, hence, likely to threaten the well being of others.
